Are you lowered? If so go with a BMR $120. The 1le is just harder bushings vs stock rubber.

You're kidding me... there's no difference between a stock bar and a 1LE, it's just the bushings?

The SLP bar is durometer bushings and about $80.
Go adjustable BMR is awesome.

yup, thats why not many people "upgrade" to this part.

lots use the 1LE control arms though.
I went to tubular ones from mine and hardly noticed a difference, but my buddy who has my 1LE ones said it was huge.

Thanks. I've visited 1LE.net. The problem is that when I type the control arm p/n into GMpartsdirect.com, I get nothing. I'm wondering if the # has been changed, or if it is no longer available.

I can't imagine 1LE control arms being any stiffer than any aftermarket ones.

I'm just wondering if they can be purchased any cheaper (through Cromer) then ordering up a set of Hotchkis or BMRs.

SLP has the 1LE panhard on special for 29.95 + 20 shipping. I was thinking about it myself, for me its a big improvement over the stamped piece on my car. But I think I will go with something else

Here was my experience with the 1LE PHB & LCA's. My local dealer parts guys are very cool BTW. I wanted to know the difference between the stock and 1LE before I bought them. Well, while they were looking up the PN's to see if they were in stock, they found another number for a special service part. They had the 1Le's in stock, but not the special service, so they did what curious parts guys do. They special ordered them for stock. They came in about a week later. We compared them all next to each other. The same exact PN is stamped on the metal parts of all three and there is no visual difference. However, the bushings were all color coded differently. With guess what, the special service seeming to be the hardess when pushed with a ball point pen. They did not have the specs to the actual durometer, so it was just our opinion. Anyway, I want my car to appear stock to any warranty adjuster that hopefully will never see it, so I am boxing a set of stock arms. that way they retain the GM pn, but will have either poly or the special service bushings. Kind of long, but I thought worth the info.

I ordered a PHR from Strano and added QA1 rod ends and love it. No rattling or anything. I don't think I would spend the money on the 1LE rod.

As far as LCA's, the bushings are stiffer on the 1LE piece but that's it. The LCA's are plenty stiff already. Shoebox is right, aftermarket pieces look nice and save a little weight but really do very little in terms of adding additional stiffness. Save your money for more important performance enhancing parts.

Also, don't do poly/poly on the LCA's. You need rubber (or rod-ends) on one end at least.
