Don't order 1LE springs from him, he will send the wrong springs front and rear.
Look for blue paint dots on the 1LE parts, there are other differences but all of mine had blue paint.
I ordered from GM parts direct, they also sent the wrong springs, but they had everything else also.

Thanks Z28barnett ... good info ...
I used the search tool and found and old post from Z28barnett ....
The pricing he has is out of date ... add 20% to most everything.
I have lower A-Arms on the way.

1LE Front Lower Control Arm Front Bushing (GM p/n 22145392) $15.44
1LE Front Lower Control Arm Rear Bushing (GM p/n 22156434) $35.77
1LE Rear Lower Control Arm Bushings (GM p/n 10164152) (4 required, bushing only) $8.40
* These are solid rubber and not cutaway for soft ride like the stock Z28 bushings. I would expect them to be a pain to install.
* I would just order the arms, save a major hassle. Unless your ride is very low miles.
1LE Front Left Lower Control Arm (GM p/n 52367658) (arm complete with bushings and Ball Joint) $112.72
1LE Front Right Lower Control Arm (GM p/n 52367659) (arm complete with bushings and Ball Joint) $112.72
1LE Front Left Upper Control Arm (GM p/n 22204674) (arm complete with bushings and Ball Joint) $113.28
1LE Front Right Upper Control Arm (GM p/n 22204675) (arm complete with bushings and Ball Joint) $113.28
*I ordered these parts and got the correct parts. They have a blue paint dot on them and no cut away areas on the bushings.

Re: 1LE suspension parts still available
I have a stock 2000 Z/28. A couple of questions:
What's the difference between the 1LE front upper and lower control arms and the one's on my car now?
Most of the posts above seem to relate to early 4th generation cars. Will the part numbers listed above fit/apply on my 2000?
Thank you.

Re: 1LE suspension parts still available
Differences between stock and 1LE uppers and lowers is nothing more than the bushing material. The 1LE bushing is "stiffer" and will give crisper handling.
All 93-02 upper and lower front arms are the same.

Re: 1LE suspension parts still available
I ordered 1LE lower front control arms from GMPD about a month ago. They were back ordered, but they claim that they can get still get them. They still have not shipped out according to the website, and the no customer service thing is starting to get to me. They have told me that it is a problem with UPS, but it will be five weeks tomorrow. I'll report back if they ever come in.

Re: 1LE suspension parts still available
OK, GMPD just sent me the notice that my parts were shipped. DHL should have them to my door by Friday. I will report back to let everyone know if they have the blue dots, and lack the cutaway etc.

Re: 1LE suspension parts still available
OK, I received my control arms on Friday. There were blue paint dots on the arm itself, and the vertical bushing had no material cut away. The part numbers as listed above were on the stickers, so I'm fairly certain that I got the real deal.
Now if I can get a free weekend, I'll be rid of the infernal squeaking from the poly bushings that I put in last year.

Re: 1LE suspension parts still available
Just curious why you would spend that much money on new control arms with no other differenece than bushing stiffness rather than spend a few extra bucks and get some tubular units from BMR? Not flaming just wondering if it was only because of the price difference...
BTW why would solid rubber front lca's be better than poly, I thought I heard poly binds on those bushings, is there still just that much less flex in the poly?

Poly cold flows cracks and melts in this application. Rubber just works. FYI you can buy just the 1LE rubber bushings for the LCA.
Many of the aftermarket LCA are too weak to use in RR. Drag only parts.
The 1LE includes a new ball joint if you get the whole arm, easier cheaper than dealing with getting the ball joint out and the rusted in bushings.
