1LE Vs. WS6 Springs

I have a question about springs. Did all 1997 Formula's get the WS6 suspension? Or was WS6 an option? And I'm guessing the 1LE springs are better then the WS6 springs? Would 1LE springs lower the car any?

Re: 1LE Vs. WS6 Springs

Only WS6 cars got WS6 suspension upgrades.

1LE springs do not lower the car. I believe WS6 cars got the 32mm front sway 360lb front springs, same as those that came on a 1LE car. Rear springs are most likely 1Le rates too if the fronts are.

Re: 1LE Vs. WS6 Springs

I've been told that the 1le springs do not lower the car at all. http://www.angelfire.com/my/fastcar/suspension.html
