275/40-17s all around on 17x9, will I rub?
I have a '91 Pontiac Firebird
I'm looking to get some tires for my 17x9 Camaro SS wheels and I really want to go with 275s all around. I know it won't be a problem on the rear but I'd like to know if I'll have to worry about rubbing in the front. I could be safe and go with 255s, but I really want 275s and I want the same tire size all around so I can rotate.
If it helps, my front struts are brand new (I mention this because my old ones were worn to hell and caused the whole front end to sag, obviously my new ones do not do this. Maybe this will cause it to not rub?). I also have a stock ride height.
Also what size wheel adapter should I be using in the front? I've heard 2" is the standard, if I went to 2.25", it would fill in that fender gap that I hate, would it help fight against the rubbing issues as well?

they will work fine, as you will need spaces for the wheels anyway to fit a 3rd gen. u might rub if you turn as far as possible but that doesn't matter cuz how often do u yank on the wheel all the way?
