Of the 3, which shock?

KYB, Monroe or Gabriel? Something off Ebay. I'm lookin for a cheap pair of new rear shocks. The car's only driver about 2000 miles a year, but it is Pro-Kit equipped. I seem to recall Strano recommending a line of 3rd gen KYB's for rear. Anyone know?

I've seen Sam suggest Bilstein 3rd gens but never KYB and never non-revalved for lowering springs.

If I had to chose from those 3 I'd say KYB Gas-a-just, not the AGX. I'd also choose Tokico over KYB, but that just my $.02

Bilstein revalves or Koni adjustables. Bilsteins are cheaper, so that might be the better option if performance isn't priority. Not that Bilstiens are junk by any means.

I've looked into the Gas A Just. I'll look at the Tokico's also.
Thanks

You will hear a lot of different opionions on shocks for these cars. If you are just looking for a good replacement shock for the rear that will give you good life and good control the Tokico HP is a good setup. They will not put you at the best level of performance but they will most certainly be a big improvement over factory. The other options would be the Tokico Illumina which are a 5 way adjustable for the rear or of course the Koni's. We have all of them on our website if you want to take a look at them.

Trying to stiffen it up a bit and minimize body roll. Best shock for money I guess.

the best shock for the money is an interesting question? If you asked me it would be koni sa's but thats after talking to Sam Strano for 35 mins.
Maybe Bilstein's but their not good for lowering a car. I would really look into this deeper, shocks account for a lot on a F body. I just see buying something cheap and re doing them a year or two down the road is a waste. Im trying extremely hard to do things once, its expensive enough doing it that way.

Your best shock for the money would be the Koni 3rd gen Mono-tube.
