Hey I just got a 1994 Z28 Convertible and my third brake light (spoiler light) isn't working. I changed the bulbs, checked the fuses, cleaned the connections and it still isn't working. Is there something easy that I'm missing? Any help or ideas would be great. Thanks!

And my ABS Inop light came on today which I read is related.

Yeah, if the 3rd brake light is not working, the ABS and even cruise control will probably not work.

What testing have you done? Checked to see if voltage and ground is getting to the lights?

Yea the cruise control isn't working either. I haven't checked for voltage yet, I guess I will do that tomorrow.

search around....it could be a few thing but there are some post with pics about checking the brake light switch and cleaning it.

I have run into a few times on these cars, also could be a bad turn signal switch.....just need to get a meter and start checking.

Ok I also cleaned, checked, and re-adjusted the brake light switch, and I believe that it is working because the left and right taillight do light up when the pedal is depressed.
