abs......

how do you disable the anti-lock brakes, (temporarily)? I heard somewhere that you could pull a fuse to disable it?

Short answer... ABS fuse. Once the ABD inop light comes on you know you have it.

Pull the module in the engine bay fuse box.. It will be labeled with something like ABS IV or something like that.. I was having issues with my ABS acting up and actually taking clamping force off my brakes while normally braking, so I pulled the module and never looked back.. I grew up driving hard in third gens, so ABS isnt a big issue in my book..

But that module is the easiest way to do it.. Its next to all the other relays in the under-hood fuse box.
