ABS INOP light after brake booster removal?

ABS INOP light after brake booster removal?
OK, 95 Z28.
We removed the brake booster to sand it down and repaint it. We never messed w/ the fluids, lines or anything, just moved the master cyl. to the side.
We put the brake booster back in, and there are no issues. I drove it to make sure everything was working great. It is. A couple of weeks later, I get in it, and get it warmed up, and I see the ABS INOP light is on. It comes on after about 3 minutes of it being cranked. HOW ANNOYING. I have a SS spoiler on it, I checked the brake lights, they are working.
WHAT is causing this? I have a friend w/ a Snap On scanner, I am waiting on him to get back in town. Anyone know, or have any ideas why this light would be on????
