ABS removal and dash lights

Just removed the ABS pump assembly from my car over the weekend and am looking to get rid of the resulting ABS Inop and Brake lights on the dash. The ABS Inop light I expected and plan to just pull out the bulb for that one. The Brake light I didn't expect....is it normal for this to be on after an ABS removal? Bled the brakes twice, there are no leaks and the brakes perform great. Is there something else I need to do or is it normal for both lights to be on now?

Pin A7 on the EBCM drives the ABS IOP light in the IP. A Light green wire. Tap in and ground this to disable the IP light. ECBM is located up in the driver side kick panel. 30th Gen_4 is a 1997 (I think). I did the ABS removal but had alot of trouble with dub_flair of the rear brake line since it is a metric size. Replaced the line to the rear with American 1/4 size. B.

Does this fix the "Brake" light on in the dash problem as well?

Great info...thanks! How did you tap in and ground your wires? I guess those plastic splicers would be the easiest but I haven't had very good luck with them making solid connections in the past. Do you know of an easier / better way?
Just weighing this option against simply pulling out the bulbs....

Get a sharp knife. Cut about 1/2 " insulation off. Wrap a second ground wire on to conductor. Solder. Tape. Test ground. Test abs inop light. With ignition on, the light should test light, then go off.
