ABS Replacement

Have a 94 Z28 that needs new ABS...the current system failed. Where or how do you go about finding the parts for this job?

I wish I knew what part exactly. The brakes will lock up sometimes during heavy braking...the ABS light is on, but when the codes are pulled nothing shows up?

Try making sure there is no air in the line, I hear this can cause that same malfunction.

What are you using to pull the codes?

Which "ABS" light is on.... the one that says "ABS INOP", or the one that says "LOW TRAC"?

I was using an AutoXray...The light coming on was an ÄBS Inop. light.

Auto Xray won't give you ABS codes

sounds like a bad wheel speed sensor, but you need to read the ABS codes and watch the ABS data to know which one

Check eBay for an OTC Tech-II ($3,000 new), or look at the Snap-On MT-2500.
