Adjusting Hal Shocks(height)

when i got my hals i also got the spanner wrench and when i installed the hals i put in bearings/races with plenty of antisieze to make the adjusting easier.i havent adj them yet but in order to raise the car up evenly how should i go about doing this.i need to raise the front of the car up about an inch.thanks guys

I used a ruler and measured the distance from the base of the shock to the adjustment ring. Make sure both sides have the same distance. The height may settle after you drive the car. You may need to re-adjust after driving.
