Advice on Springs

Z28 M6, long tube headers, 383 on the way. Whats the best springs to get? I only want to drop about an inch or so. Eibach Pro Kit, Drag Launch kit, or the Hotchkis 1 inch springs? I will be getting shocks sooner or later, and I take it to the track often, but its still a street car. Already have LCA's panhard bar, torque arm, sub frames... Any advice is appreciated...

With longtubes you have to be careful when you lower the car. Check out Strano....http://www.stranoparts.com/partdetai...=112&ModelID=2 Those are the springs I have matched with koni shocks and they are amazing. Those are more for handling and not so much drag set-up though

I agree you can't go wrong with Strano's and Koni's
Truly an impressive setup.

What kind of track use will dictate what spring package to go with. I'm guessing you mean drag racing. I have the Strano/Koni setup and it's not great for drag racing nor was it designed to be. It is a spectacular setup for road racing/auto-x use and that's what i got it for. -2* camber, +4.3 caster, 0.0 toe. Turns like a mother on race tires.

My car is going to be a daily driver, but Im getting springs for mainly track use. I need to get around town pretty good, but not really hard cornering, although I would still like cornering . Im looking at either the Pro-Kit or the Drag Launch Kit. Im thinking the drag launch kit would be better for the track? Will it work well around town also?

Up front get a set of Strange DA threaded body shocks with the hypercoil 2.5" ID springs, you can set the ride height exactly where you want. For the rear do the "Hose Mod" with the stock rear spring, for around 3/4" lower ride height and a rear set of Strange DAs.
