Are aftermarket LCA's, Panhard bar, Torque Arm, worth the $?

I have a 400 RWHP ws6 with a 6 speed with 373 gears, girdle. Is it worth it to put on after market lower control arms, pan hard bar, torque arm. If so what is the best per dollar and which do I need? Plan to put some drag radials on it and just have some fun as I have zero traction right now.

LCA's with relocation brakets will help with your traction a good deal. I don't really know about the panhard rod. I have a single adjustable one on my bird but never really noticed a differece. But judging by the stocker and the UMI peice its got to be at least a little better and every little bit helps. As for the torque are definatly worth the money will totally help with your traction and will allow you to adjust your pinion angle if you do alot of drag racing. Overall I would say they are worth it, but if you are just starting with suspension. Look into sfc's and shocks. If you do alot of road racing look into sway bars. Also new shocks are a good place to start. In my opinon I would start with SFC's then torque arm and shocks they follow with the rest to complete the suspension.

The tires will be your best traction upgrade. After that, lower control arms, relocation brackets, and the panhard rod are all pretty affordable upgrades and will help a little as well. The torque arm will run you a little dough though.

LCAs, panhard bar, and a tunnel brace mounted TA are worth it...I think pinion angle is an often overlooked traction aid...I run 2-2.5 deg negative and traction improved tremendously...

They are worth every penny.
I installed LCAs, BMR adjustable TA, and relocation brackets along with Nitto DRs and went from 2.2 sixty foots to 1.8.
Traction will make a world of difference in how many races you win.

Which TA are you guys using? The one that connects in the stock spot on the tranny or the one that moves the mounting point off the tranny? I have been thinking about doing this for awhile but don't know which one to get....

I use the Spohn cross brace mounted TA with 2 DS loops...I had a trans mounted one and it split the tailshaft of the trans. They are a bit more noisey than trans mounted, but as you build more power you want to keep all that stress off of your transmission...trust me on this and notice I have TWO loops on my new TA...

I am installing a TH400 and I just purchased a BMR conversion cross member that will allow me to keep my current BMR TA that attached to the tranny.
It has a special brace to mount the TA too. I have a BMR driveshaft loop as well.
Its going to look sweet with all that tubular red crap under there.![Big Grin](https://www.camaroz28.com/forums/images/smilies/biggrin.gif)
Probably gonna add more weight than a body mount though.

I have relo bracks, phb, cont arms, rear shocks, 315/35/17 dr's, stb, and sfc's. I must say that I still spin hard but at least I stay straight and I have way more control of the car now.
