Anyone doing the c6 z06 brakes?

As the tittle says,

Since its a direct bolt on with bob bishops brackets... anyone installed them?

i read that they arent that much of an improvement over the c5 style, plus the pads wear out fast and replacements are a fortune, 6 pads per side

First things I started reading on them was Z06 owners complaining they wore out WAY too fast.

The only reason I would really consider the C6 Z06 brakes would be for the "wow factor". My C5 Z06 brakes have great stopping power, and I only did the fronts with OEM pads. The C6 Z06 brakes might be a little overkill, but they do provide those huge rotors and some bragging abiltiy.

not worth it from a performance standpoint. we have heavy cars that like to use up a lot of consumables. c5 brakes offer great pad/rotor selection that you arent going to get with the c6 z06 setup. if really want to get serious, ante up for the stoptech kit. my friend has them and they are unbelievable.
