Im a bit low on funds but I have a welder...so I was thinking why not weld some thinner strips of steal on the main section of the TQ arm. The first strip would but at a 45 degree angle, then the next one butted against at a 90 so it would look kinda like \/\/\/\
Has anyone ever tried something like this? Did it work? For a few bucks and a little bit of work I would think it could help quite a bit. Thanks
Aaron

The main problem I've experienced w/ the stock torque arm is oblonging the mount holes where it attaches to the rear end housing.. I've welded on some grade 8 flat washers and amazingly enough - it's still together. My only problem now is it has ripped/cracked the lower "L" portion on the rear most part of the torque arm. A little spot welding has fixed that though.
If anything else happens I'm gonna bite the bullet and get a spohn prolly.
