Anyone ever used Lakewood Traction Bars?

http://www.jegs.com/webapp/wcs/store...44085_-1_11177

I didn't even know they had them until I was thumbing through the Jeg's catalog one day, & no one's ever mentioned them on here before. Anyone have any experience with them? They're the only ones I've seen for a fourth gen.

Do a search for 'lakewood' in this forum. Results have been mixed. Some users have failure due to breakage and some users have success.

Thanks, guys, I didn't realize anyone had ever tried them. Looks like the J&M poly-ball LCAs are the way to go for both traction and handling.

I think there still trying to seel off overstock from when they were making them

Thats what our torque arms are for, but the bars have a different geometry which would try to lift the body at a different rate then the torque arm, probably not so good

The big dogs are pulling 1.2x 60-fts on nothing more than tubular LCA's and LCA relocation brackets from Spohn or BMR.

If you put enough HP to the Lakewoods, they put the suspension in bind, and something has to "give".... usually the welds on the Lakewoods.

Just go with a set of relocation brackets and control arms, it will be a much set-up then the traction bars. I run a UMI set-up and it is very nice.
