a arm question

is it ok to just change the uppers and leave the stock lowers? my car is at stock height.. I like the tubular arms but have know need for adjustables so i was thinking about replacing the uppers with some umi units with new ball joints. and just rebush the lowers.also is changing the uppers as easy as removing the 2 bolts and knocking the ball joint free?
thanks wils

Re: a arm question

To remove the upper arms you'll need to remove the shock/spring assembly, because the bolts can't be removed with the shock/spring assembly mounted.

You do know you'll need a complete front end alignment after installing the tubular arms, since the arms are shorter, correct?
