Finally the test drive ....WOW. I have one regret, I wish I had done this sooner. It feels like "someone else's car". I'm kind of startled when I push the pedal so lightly and it responds with such force. Can only imagine how well a Vette must stop with less weight and better rear brakes. Only now do I realize just how bad my old LT1 brakes were with that dark brown fluid. If anyone's contemplating doing the C5 front brake upgrade, stop thinking about it and just do it. My mechanical skills aren't the greatest and it was only my 2nd brake job, turned out great. Thanks again for all the help.
