Bad wheel bearing?

My front right tire is worn very badly on the outside part, and I get a whirring sound anytime the car is going towards the right side when going 40+

Appreciate the help guys

Re: Bad wheel bearing?

Your hub assembly is prob bad.... Change out both, so you dont have to do the other side later on.... Cost around 70-80 dollars each....

Easy to replace... Only 4 bolts to remove...

Re: Bad wheel bearing?

I have the same thing, except it's both tires, and I am
also thinking it could be the bearings.

I'm also getting a new one because either the bearing or the speed sensor in there makes ticking noise at speeds of 30+ and it f'ing annoying. I am 100% sure its not the brakes, clutch, exhaust, or engine. I've tested everything!

"Do I have to remove the rotors, pads, etc.?"

Yes, but its not hard at all, you wont need to remove the calipers or anything so its a stright forward swap.
