bent axle?

Ok so I just bought a 2002 z28 it needed brakes badly and when I was driving i could feel shaking coming from the rear passengers side . I changed the brakes front and back and replaced the rear rotors which dramatically improved my braking but not the shaking. While I was driving through town I stopped at a light and the guy who pulled up next to me said my back wheel was wobbling bad! I thought maybe the wheel was bent so I swapped the wheels w the c6 wheels that were on my 94 z28 and still the shaking persists. Even when driving slow or just rolling I can feel the shake as well as at higher speeds. I've been asking a few of my friends who are more mechanically inclined then I am and they have told me to put it up on stands and spin the wheel to see if the axle is bent. Does anyone have any other suggestions? And if it is the axle how hard would it be to replace and can I get one from a junk yard? Thanks

Your friends are right. Rear tires off the ground, engine idling, tranmission in gear. Sight down the edge of each tire and it will be very obvious if there is bent axle. (Works for people who whack a curb too. A bent wheel will exhibit noticeable runout. Think a front wheel is damaged? Just swap the front set to the rear and test.)
