My old '94 had Bilsten HD and single rate Spring 1.75" drop springs. I liked the look, but...

a) I only had shorties and I scraped them and bumper all over

b) friend borrowed my car and hit a curb going slow, 6" curb.... car is a parts car now.

SO although I like the look of the lower cars, I want to run LTs this time and I want the car to ride better and live longer, as I'm older and quality/refinment is more important then just looks. I don't mind paying for quality.

So far from everything I read I am saying Koni Adj. not sure if single or dual yet.

A while back, yes. But not now..... Koni has improved a rear shock that gives us a lower entry cost than before, is not much more than Bilstein rears, and give you adjustment. In short, I used that before Koni improved the rear shock I now use in place of the 3rd gen Bilstein HD before. And it only adds about $40 to the price of the set of shocks. A small price to pay for adjustable damping.

i would stay away from qa1 on a street car the ride terrible.
