BMR sfc's and lca's lower 60'?
I'm thinking about getting bmr sfc's and lca's. think they will help out my 60'? I'm really hoping the lower control arms will help my traction issues for the 1-2 shift at the track.

Although sub's and control arms will be benifical, I don't think the'll help your 60ft's much at all, especially if your using a street tire. You'll get the biggest bang for the buck with a set of drag radials or even ET streets, although the streets can get hard on the rear end in a stick car. I didn't see much improvement in 60ft when I put my subs and arms on. I saw the most improvement on the street with drivability. Especially with the subs since my car is a T-top. Stiffened it up big time. Maybe more will chime in here.

If you are having traction issues off the line, they SFC's and LCA's should help you hook up which would lower your 60'. But if you are already hooking up, I don't see a change in 60'. But like stated above, you will only get so much traction from street tires before having to step up to some drag radials or slicks. I put SFC's on my car and really have not noticed any change at all (hardtop car).

You must be spinning or you need more practice launching (not meant to be offensive). LCAs will help with wheel hop so if you are spinning (and bouncing) then your 60 will improve, but not as much as with tires as others said. Having said that, I've gone 2.09x in my V6 mostly stock convertible on street tires, before subs and with stock LCAs...which is why is say if youre not spinning, then more practice launching your car will get those 60s down. A trick with an auto and stock converter is to stage so you just break the first beam, then you get a bit of a rolling start before you trip the timer light. Hurts reaction time, but unless your heads up, who cares.
