BMR Torque arm relocation bracket

I have a BMR torque arm and relocation bracket. How do you know what hole setting to use on the relocation bracket. Do you adjust it according to pinion angle?

Do you have the BMR Trak Pak?

If so, what "holes" are you asking about?

Yes thats it. Its not a track pack. I used the second hole from the top and set the pinion angle at -2 degrees. I had no choice but to use the upper holes because of y-pipe interference. Is there any advantage of one position over the other? If need be I could modify the y-pipe.

Thanks

Re: BMR Torque arm relocation bracket

Generally, you'll feel more vibration, and hear a bit more noise. A lot of it depends on the bushing used at the front of the torque arm. A poly bushing will be a bit noiser than a rubber bushing. An aftermarket TA with a spherical rod end will be a lot noiser.

I have the Spohn TA with the spherical rod end, and the noise is not objectional. But then the car is pretty noisy to begin with.....

Re: BMR Torque arm relocation bracket

I didnt notice much difference in noise but my car has a open cutout, I did notice more vibration, i find it annoying. I put 1/8th inch rubber in between the relocation bracket and the body, helped alot but i get a slight vibration, between 52 and 58, basically crusing speed lol. Next stop for me is to find someone who can dynotune odb II or convert to odb I somewhere in Michigan. I put 370 RWHP thru a dana 60 and M6 with a mail order. I HOPE THERE IS MORE IN IT lol.
