Re: Boxed or Tubular sfc?

I was thinking of lowering my car later on, will tubular sfc help straight line traction?

Re: Boxed or Tubular sfc?

There is no significant reason to prefer one over the other. How well they work is a function of design, construction, and installation not boxed vs. round tubing.

Re: Boxed or Tubular sfc?

this is my personal opinion so take it for what you will...
do boxed if you dont mind them being seen (a couple can't even be seen from what i've heard) and if you're interested in primarily straight line
tubulars arent necessarily "weaker" or don't do the job as good
they are made so you don't see them and for lowered cars who need all the ground clearance they can get

if you're going with tubulars, i would check out thunderracing.com and look at their global west ones (heard they are great stuff)
that's what i plan to get when i scrap up enough money
