Braided steel brake hoses, traction control?

Hey all..

Russell Performance sells a 5 line kit on JEGS and Summit for braided hoses for my '96 Z28. According to JEGS though, they will only work for cars that do NOT have traction control. My car does. Will these hoses work for it? I know traction control is connected to the ABS, but what will happen if I put those on. Any thoughts, ideas, or other products would be helpful.

jpkalas:
ISTR Russell and Earls also have 6 line kits for traction control cars. Give them a call for the correct numbers.

I came across the following. There don't seem to be separate TC line kits for LT1s. I believe other have used the following, hopefully they will post their solutions. (I used the LS1 5 line kit for my upgrade [no TC])

That part number for the LS1 brake line kit is the same part number for the LT1 brake line kit on JEGS. They should be fairly compatible correct? Because if it isn't going to mess with the ABS sensors I think I'm going to go ahead and get it.

Whoops, no it isn't. Sorry!

You think the 6 line kit for the LS1 would fit my '96 LT1 then? I don't see why not.

The LT1 hoses and the LS1 hoses are different in the front. These are the hoses that we build in house. These are the ONLY OEM fit and finish hoses on the market that are DOT legal made from Teflon lined stainless steel.
