Brake balance with C5's on the front '94 Z28 Vert
Is there going to be an issue with braking balance if i put C5 calipers and rotors on the front of my '94 Z28 Convertible and leave the rears factory? I have C5's for all 4 wheels but i dont wanna lose my parking brake. So i would like to leave the rears factory if i could but if its going to be a problem ill deal with it.

Yeah thats why i ve put some c5 on mine
Like shoebox said you need to correctly adjust it.You want the 4 wheels to lock practicly at the same time.
So you ask a friend to look at your braking on the side of the road. You bring it to 60 mph than slam(i mean it) the brake to make the wheel lock. This way your friend will tell you wich one lock first.
So you turn the valve *** clockwise(1/2 turn each time) untill the 4 wheel lock at the same time.
Thats it

This is the 1st time I've noticed mention of proportioning valve use on the C5 front brake upgrade for LT1 cars. Is this really necessary or is it just needed if the ABS is being deleted? What if a LS1 rear is also being installed?
