Brake bleeding.

I have installed new rotors and pads on my car (all four corners) and I would like to flush the system and get fresh brake fluid in it.I've never attempted to bleed an ABS before and don't want to get in over my head.
I have a Helms manual and after studying it over a few times there seems to be a lot more to it then just hitting all four corners.A lot of threads on this subject do not mention bleeding the hydraulic modulator which is the first thing mentioned in the Helms book.
I was also planning on using a MityVac to bleed the system.Helms has a pressure method and the old way of having an assistant work the pedal while another works the bleeder screws. It doesn't mention using vacuum to bleed the brakes.
I would appreciate any input from those of you that have used the vacuum method and if it worked well for you.The brakes are working fine now, I just don't want to screw it up.

Thanks.
James.

You're ABS module has 2 bleed ports (look like the bleeders on the calipers) that are used to bleed the ABS system. Although to be thorough, you can bleed the fluid through these ports, but if the system hasn't been opened to air, it's probably overkill IMHO. I bleed at the 4 corners, starting from the further one from the master cylinder.
