Brake Fluid?

Are Dot 2 and Dot 3 brake fluids compatible? Can I mix them and still have reliable safe braking?

Thanks:

Re: Brake Fluid?

I just did the LS1 conversion on my LT-1 so I am wondering if my old fluid is dot-2, can I use dot-3 with it. Who knows, it might be dot-3 thats already in there. So just curious worst case scenario, will they mix and be ok?
