Brake fluid low - ASR won't go on

Hey guys, this morning when I started my car the Brake light, ABS INOP light and the ASR light ("Off") stayed on for the first 10 minutes that I was driving. Pressing the ASR button would NOT turn it back on. I pulled over and checked my brake fluid which was low. After adding fluid and restarting the car the lights went off and ASR worked normal again. I did a real quick search and didn't find anyone else that this happened to. Is that a normal function to kill ASR circuit if your brake fluid is low?

You've probably guessed right, that if the system detects a problem like low fluid it deactivates the ABS and ASR. I don't know for sure, though it seems reasonable.

... Wow, I had the ASR problem earlier.. didn't get the ABS INOP light, however. ASR remained off.. I stopped at a store, and when I started it back up, ASR was working again.
