brake pads for drag use only

Are there any particular brands out there that would be good fro drag race use ony?

I am rebuilding several parts of my car and while I have the rotors and calipers off I have decided to replace the brake pads. I currently have a set of performance friction Z-rated pads on the car but I know they are more of a high performance street pad that tend to work better with more heat. I know that if I could hold the brakes a bit more I could get a little more rpm out of the converter on the line.

My car does not hit the street anymore. I want more holding power on the line... What pads for a stock caliper can I use that are better for track only use? Should I just go back to an OEM pad from the dealer?

Might check out the EBC greenstuff pads, supposed to work well from ambient to about 800-900 degrees. Also better initial bite than stock. I'd think they would do well, and be less likely to glaze on fast stops than stock.

Of course, the Hawk street plus might be nice too.
