brake problems 95 Z28

After car warms up, and after i stop the brake pedal drop another 1/2 inch the car moves forward a couple of feet and the lo trac light comes on, after not using car for a week both the lo trac light came on and abs, although, intermittantly!, I went to Dealer and the said I needed a new left and possibly right speed sensor, or actually 2 new hubs-----$1400. any comment, suggestions, ideas, besides not using the dealer, from what I see you can but the hub $99. (import) $ 145 (usa) but I don't think thats really the problem. (I'm really rambling on)!!!!!!!first time on a forum, what can I say! Thanks, Bob

If the speed sensor in the hub is going bad It could definately cause the problem you are having. My friends wife had a Jeep that would stop normally till about 2-4mph, then it would feel like the ABS kicking in and the Jeep would go 5 more feet or so before stoping. Felt scary sometimes. Ended up finding a weak sensor on the rear.

If you don't want to spend full price on the hub assemblies I've got several good used ones from cars I've parted out for cheap.

Shoot ma a PM if interested.
