brakes

whats involved with changing the front brakes. my brakes i guess locked up(a guy told me the tires weren't turning). is it computer controlled or r the calipers sticky/broken? any ideas fellas.

not computer controlled. sounds like a stick caliper piston to me. just staring unbolting the caliper and if the piston is stuck, u need a rebuild or a new caliper. for rebuild pointers, pm me

you need a 3/8" hex drive to unbolt the two caliper bolts. Remove the caliper, press the piston back into the bore, check everything out, and re-install. take for a test drive. if its fixed, you had a seized piston. It may be likely to reoccur so you may want to replace the caliper.
