brakes suck after cars been sitting

My cars been siting a lot, so recently I started driving it and I noticed the pedal feels terrible, it isn't hard to get it to go down to the floor. There isnt much pedal resistance, it prety much just lets you put it down kinda far. Pads arent but a few thousands miles old. The only things I'm thinking it could be are a leak, fluid or a bad master.

So looking around, seems like its either a leak, low fluid or a bad master. I'm hoping its not a bad master.

Neil,

Sure its not just the rust on the rotors? When was the last time you bled the brakes?

Checking the fluid level is an obvious first. What I like to do is find a safe place to take the car up to speed and slam on the brakes to "clean" the rotors/pods. Take the car home and bleed the brakes starting with the caliper furthest away from the master cylinder to the closest. While you bleed the brakes you can inspect the calipers for obvious signs of damage and go from there. Main thing with a car as old as yours is to prepare to get dirty and actually SEE what's going on.

I actually drove it to HPE to to get my sub frames welded on, so all that driving espically stop and go on 610 would have to of cleaned any rust off. Fluid level seemed fine, may try and bleed it all out. Thanks for the advice, whats going on with your car?
