Bushings
Ok eveytime I take off from a stoplight or even go over a speedbump I get this creeking sound from the rear of my car. I know its my sway bar bushings because everytime I grease them it goes away but always comes back a month or two later. I have done this several times and the sound still comes back. So do you guys think my bushings need to be replaced? My car only is a Florida car with only 34,000 miles so I didnt think it was time to replace them. Any comments would be great.
Thanks,
Chris

Re: Bushings
If those bushings are the originals, then they are over 10 years old... I'm in the process of replacing most of the bushings on my 94 and as I've pulled them off, most of them are in bad shape from dry rot and cracking...

Re: Bushings
ya and make sure that if you do get poly bushings, that you use the right grese because i used just a normal black goop (for lack of a better term) grese. For the poly bushings use this grese

that will stop every bit of squeking you have ever heard. just make sure when you put it on, you put it EVERYWHERE! so that you never have to do it again

Re: Bushings
I hear ya man, I've replaced every square inch of my suspension when I did my upgrade and I still have squeeks with less than 300mi on my setup. Now, I have to go back and see what's going on? If I lube my car anymore...I'm ganna own stock in some grease company, lol. My car sounds like old bed springs..*creak * creak..
