C4 brakes on a 4th gen

I have a chance to get some nice C4 rotors for a good price. I was wondering if these will fit my car? My brakes are stock and completely unaltered. thanks in advance.

Re: C4 brakes on a 4th gen

I have C4 (front) brakes on my 96. You don't say if you have the fronts, rears, or both. Either way, they will not just bolt onto your car. The rotors are different diameter and also different thickness. The Baer Track brake set up is basically C4 brakes. To correctly install them on your car you would need the rotors, calipers, caliper brackets and pads, etc. Then you would have to cut the existing mounting ears off of your spindles and fabricate a bracket to mount the C4 caliper bracket. Its a lot of work, but can be done as that is what I did. Although these brakes are an improvement over the LT1 front brakes, the LS1 front brakes are better and would be less work to install. If I were doing it over, I would just go with the LS1 brakes.
