C5 brake conversion question

Will the c5 caliper/rotor go on the stock camaro spindle or do I have to move the whole spindle over?

Re: C5 brake conversion question

On a LT1 car, they go right on, but you need different brackets for the calipers, and have to cut the old ones off. I haven't done it on a LS1 car, so I can't comment on that.

Re: C5 brake conversion question

One of our supporting vendors sells the conversion brackets:

http://www.fullthrottlespeed.com/ite...522605+eq++Tp+

The site says it's for '93-02 Camaros, so it should be the same for both LT1 and LS1 cars (and V6 cars too). At the bottom of the description is a link to download a Word doc that lists all of the parts you'll need to complete the conversion. Spindles aren't on the list.

Re: C5 brake conversion question

I got the C5 rotors front and back and will also be getting BRACKETS that will let my LS1 calipers work with the C5 rotors.
