c5 brakes?
so i have given up on cross drilled slotted rotors.
i heard using brembo blanks or upgrading to "c5" brakes is the best way to go.
what do i need to upgrade to c5 brakes?
i am buying hawk hps pads.
Also any links where to buy this stuff for a good price is well appreciated!

To upgrade to C5 brakes you need caliper mounting brackets (available from Trackbird, Kore3, UMI and BMR), C5 calipers, rotors and hoses. You will also need 17" wheels to fit them.
The ebay link is a set of cheap rotors. They won't be any upgrade at all.

Get some blank rotors from a part store, Axxis metal master pads or Hawk HPS, some ATE superblue brake fluid. Install the parts. Then be amazed at how much better your brake system works. You can get those pads and fluid from Strano or probably on ebay too.
The C5 conversion won't do you much good over what I suggested unless you're putting your car on the track.
Brembo rotors are considered an upgrade because they weigh more. More weight = more mass = more friction it takes to heat them up. Rotors are a heat sink. Brembos are ~18.5 lbs up front. My Bendix blanks are also 18.5 lbs. Stock is ~16lbs. So it takes less friction to heat stock rotors up compared to ones that are 18.5 lbs.

I got mine online, but you can get Wagner blanks @ O'Reilleys. I had those and only took them off because I bought the set of 4 rotos that I have on now. There is a local guy who races in the Camaro Mustang Challenge and he uses the cheap Autozone rotors and gets a season out of them. That is with more aggressive pads and harsher conditions than yours will see on the street.
