C5 conversion brackets ()---()
looking to upgrade the brakes on my 94 Z and fill the emptiness in my 17" rims. So is there anyone out there who has or knows where to find the C5 conversion brackets for the lt1's. Any info is much appreciated because these things are impossible to find. Thanks a lot.

Check with LG Motorsports and ebay. A few people in the GP have already, and may be selling their brackets in the future... all said an done Bob's made about a hundred pairs of brackets in the past few years.
LG Motorsport's bracket didn't bolt to the 4 hub-bolts like Bob's bracket does... theirs actually bolted to the LS1 caliper mounting holes (2 bolts), then had holes for the C5 caliper a bit farther out.
I've also seen a few people have the LT1 ears/tabs cut off and then re-welded onto the knuckle with a piece metal serving as a 1" spacer. Obviously this would take a little skill to actually perform and look good... and a LOT of skill to weld the cast iron correctly. Without seeing the conversion-welding in person, or hearing much feedback beyond "just had it installed and it works" (i.e. no long-term testing of durablity) I don't know if this is a great option or not. If anyone here has, or knows of someone that has done this please let me know. (I had an email from a guy down south that did this but I seem to have mis-placed it. )
The other option of course is to contact prospeed to see if they have any of their hardware left for a Porsche big-brake upgrade... but I think that's not gonna happen.
