can i drive without the panhard rod?

i busted a couple 8 dollar bolts getting the panhard off for a fuel pump swap. i don't feel like putting money into the factory stocker ****, so i was wondering if i can drive without problems having no panhard rod until i get an aftermarket one. thanks

You have to have the panhard rod in place, it's what locates the rear under the car. There is a brace for the panhard rod that some people remove for wieght reduction, but I wouldn't recommend leaving that off either unless its just an all out 1/4 mile car.

Your car will be swerving all over the road if your panhard bar is not bolted in.

The bolts aren't even that expensive, I ordered brand new ones from Spohn along with my new tubular panhard rod. The bolts only cost me 10.95.
