Can LCAs be too tight?

My rear has never sounded nice after I did my suspension years ago. Hits hard and I was wondering if I could possibly have the boxed LCAs too tight? If I jack the rear of the car up you can hear them creeeeek a bit as the tire leaves the ground.

Is there a torque spec for them?

Is it mostly when you drive through curves or go around street corners, maybe when driving over uneven road surfaces?
