How much $$$$$$$$$$ did you spend to convert to LS1 brakes ?

Also, will they work with salad shooters or are 17's mandatory?

Just wondering because I gotta do my brakes soon, and there's nothing like turning routine maintenance into big-timer vehicle upgrades. Tim Taylor style.

Thanks in advance :P
The 98+ setup will work with stock 16 inch wheels. Thats what the 98+'s come with. I bought my set up off ebay for $165 shipped. The pads and rotors were like new. So i just cleaned them up and repainted them. By the time i bought cleaner, paint, CAMARO caliper decals, brake fluid and new ball joint rubbers i think i had right about $200 by the time i was done installing the setup. It also took me 4hrs to do by myself and that includes running to the parts house. I love'em.

$170 included the spindles ? That sounds pretty damn sweet.

You can get them for pretty cheap. My basic setup cost me only $140 off of ebay, but the pads were totally shot and I didnt feel like just using the old rotors, so I bought some new ones. All in all, my setup cost around $400 but that includes new Powerslot II rotors and Ceramic pads. And yeah, I would say its DEFINETELY worth it.

P.S. Be careful about possibly getting bent spindles, not common, but definetly not uncommon.
