Car lower on one side

I was looking at my car one day and saw that it is lower on the passenger side. This looked very strange so i measured it and it is one inch lower on the passenger side. I was wondering if anyone knew of this problem and how it can be fixed.

I was thinking about buying new springs (i currently run stock springs) to see if that would fix this. Any help would be appreciated, Thanks.

Stop hauling around fat people. Yeah, I would assume it's the springs, but and inch is alot of difference. See if someone else has some input.

Welcome to the board.

Re: Car lower on one side

I have the same problem as well with my Pro-kit. My drivers side seems to be higher than my passenger side.

Yeah measure it when your sitting in it. And yes I'm serious. Most f-bodies are driven solo so GM put a little bias into the suspension so that with a driver and no passenger the car will sit level for better handling. If everyone were to park there's on level ground and measure you'd find that they are all like that. I have 3 of them sitting at the house right now and they range form 1/2 tp 7/8" low on the right.

Re: Car lower on one side

Did anyone ever find a remedy for this problem? I just finished lowering my car this weekend and I noticed that the left side of the car is lower than the right. Perhaps it is the adjustable panhard rod? I adjusted the rod to zero but the car is still sitting this way. Any help?

Re: Car lower on one side

You can put a piece of high density plastic at the top of one rear spring to raise that side of the car up. The plastic is available in 1/2" and 1" sizes. That's what I did, works like a champ.
