Car sags to one side?

^ Topic

I'm not very car knowledgeable, so if you guys could help me out.....

Would it have anything to do with shocks or springs worn more on one side than the other?

Yea, I've read of this on some board, might of been on here. From what I read it was done so when the driver was seated in the car it would be evenly level.

Re: Car sags to one side?

My car doesn't sag to one side or the other, I'm skeptical that GM would do it on purpose so it sit's level with the driver's weight?

Have you measured the difference in height? If not, get a tape measure and measure all 4 corners (wheel well to tire) to see how far off it is.

Thomas.

Before you put $13,000 into your suspension/chassis check for a collapsed rear spring. My passanger side is collapsed and each corner is a different height.

Out of curiosity, what all did you do to your Chassis/suspension for $13,000? I didnt know it was possible to spend that much short of building your own frame.

Yep mine does to. I posted about this early on the board and numerous people said that it is to counter act the weight with the driver. I beilieved it and tested it, seemed to work. Mine was an inch lower on the passenger side.
