car wanders on road?

alright, my abs inop light is on but should my car be wandering because of it?
it sometimes does it around town but it does it a lot on the highway
it doesn't seem to just go one way either (which is why i don't think i need an alignment)
it will go left, then right, then left again...etc.
any ideas?

also, brent, i wasn't really sure where to put this so if it's in the wrong forum, go ahead and move it
thanks

if you have some decent sized tires on the front, they get into grooves worn in the road, and pull. You will get used to it after a while

As for your ABS light ..check brake fluid level, bleed brakes, check wires at the front hubs for loose connection..

Well, it's definitely not related to the engine (I hope! ) but could be the suspension or tires... I'll move it to the suspension/chassis forum assuming this has just started and you didn't just change tires

yea i figure with the bigger size tires (it's got 245s on it but compared to the 215s on my RS, it's a jump) and the tighter steering, that's why i feel it pulling into the grooves in the road

also, i'm pretty sure some stuff is just caught up in my abs sensors because it seems to go away each time i wash the car and it's an on-and-off type of thing

after an 2hour roadtrip today, i think i got used to it pulling

I find that if I jsut kinda let it go it finds its own "center" pretty fast, then it doesnt need much input from me.

the sticker the tire the worse it will be too.

car should always go to the right a bit cause of the crown on the raod, unless they put that into the alinment, but that depends on what you do with the car, good for daily driver. but on a track wont be a nice.

I'm not sure if I am selling, I kinda want to, but at the same time dont.

 meant to say it went to the left...but then again, i was in the leftmost lane so that might have something to do with it

Hey unvc your in Cincy? Dayton here.

I just got 275/40/17's all the way around and the "wandering" got slightly worse. Now i have to get used to it all over again...and i had really just gotten used to the 245's lol oh well.

And the roads in Ohio are not helping the situation!
