coil overs
i have a post goin about lowering springs, and i still want help on that too, but i've also been wondering about coilovers. who makes em? which are the best? are any "true" coilovers all around? front and rear? cause i do want them someday once i get all of my suspension done, so why not et it over with and get em now?

Re: coil overs
Your front springs and shocks are already "coil-overs".... they just aren't adjustable for ride height. The QA1/HAL front shocks can raise or lower the car. The rear shocks can be altered to a coil-over design. Spohn sells a kit using the QA1/HAL shocks.
But those shocks are mainly for drag racers, with average to less-than-average performance for street handing. There is a kit that adapts stock and other non-height adjustable shocks to allow the fronts to be adjusted for height and the rears to be reconfigured as adjustable height coil-overs.

Some drag racing events do not allow rear coil-over conversions.

Re: coil overs
I don't know the specifics of the Ground Control setup... you'll have to find someone who runs them (do searches on "Ground Control" and "coil over"). I've also heard that the rear springs on the Ground Control setup may damage the body at the upper shock mount, because the mount isn't designed to handle the loads from the relocated spring. That's why Spohn includes a weld-in reinforcement for the upper spring seat/shock mount.
