Convertable SFC's

Re: Convertable SFC's
I just installed the Kenny Brown double diamond SFCs on my convertible.
From what I hear, Kenny Brown may be out of business. You will need to
do some research to find out for sure. Here is the link to my post:

I did the final welding and painting today. I forgot to bring the camera to
the muffler shop so no pics. I will go back and take some pics later. I'm glad
I did the install as the car is much more rigid. It was a lot of work, but worth
it as I like the more rigid feel of the car.

Did any verts come with sfc's from the factory? Mine has some, and they look kinda cheap, so I for a long time thought they were factory. But after laying under the car and looking at them, I can see where paint was grinded away for welding. I wonder who made mine

Are these the factory vert sfc's? How would they hold up to a 10 second car, with a roll bar? Do I need to upgrade, and if so, do I just cut these out?
I may just make my own thread, since I have so many questions, and didnt mean to hijack, lol.

Re: Convertable SFC's
That's what I was thinking. Mabey even homemade. After doing some research Ive learned that subframe connectors on 4th gens arent really needed. Theyre like at the bottom of the list of must haves. I got them anyways just because. I also got a adj phb, adj lca's, and relocation brackets at the same time so I dont know if they helped or not. I do know with everything together along with the poly mounts for the motor and tranny the car vibrates like a fat lonely house wifes toy. My c/e rear shocks came in today. I hope to have some qa1's up front soon. Ive been told that upgrading the shocks is the best mod to do first. I guess Im doing it all backwards.
