Do Adj. LCA's Take the Place of LCA Relocation Brackets?
#2
No, all the adj LCA's are for is to move the axle to allow for slicks, or bigger tires. Chances are you won't need adjustable ones
Relocation brackets are to change the angle of the LCA's for a lowered car. Not much use for a nonlowered car though.

Yeah, they are necessary to regain the rear geometry that is lost when your car is lowered. But they do help quite a bit for non-lowered car as far as straight line traction is concerned. Red96LT1 won't let me say the brackets help, because I installed them at the same time as my new LCAs, but do a search on this topic and you'll find people that have done them at seperate times and it helped out.

The main point was to settle a bet with another member. A winner is me!!!
As to the LCA brackets, I run a 2" drop and am wondering since I will only do street tricks, I'm wondering if I'll need them or not.

If you want decent traction on a lowered car, then yes, you should get them...Lowering the car puts the front of the control arms lower than the rear of the arms. This will unload the chassis upon acceleration and cause wheel spin. Check out www.spohn.net they have the weld in type (preferred) for $65.

Anyway, if you get the bolt-ins, you can still weld them in later if you decide that you want to do that.
