Doing LS1 Brakes, anything else i need to do?

My car is in need of an alignment so what better time to do a set of LS1 brakes. I bought a complete set lines, spindles, rotors and calipers. I'm planning on putting them on next weekend is there anything else i should do while i have everyhing apart. Thanks.

While you are going through the trouble, you might as well throw in a set of good pads. I used the Hawk HPS pads, and they really grip well. Best $ spent on my 97' so far. I have a lot of pics in my Sig below.

I've decided to go with Earl's lines too. I'll be doing mine this weekend I think. Should be fun.....I hope

According to my Haynes manual, it looks like bleeding the brakes is going to take the longest. They have like a million steps defined in there.

It doesn't seem like it should take long at all. Just remove the rim, unhook the brake line, ABS wiring and the undo the 3 ball joints. Then slap the new one back in. Seems rather quick and easy.

...then bleed, right rear, left rear, right front, left front. is it as lengthy as the haynes manual suggests?
