Drag springs

Best drag spring? Are the eibachs worth it; I've heard that they rise the rear up. I would care if they did, i just want a better sixty.

Re: Drag springs

I don't think you need to do much of anything to the rear springs. I run the Eibachs (yes they raised the back end about 1/2"), but only because a buddy of mine wanted to try my stock Formula springs in his 30th SS convertible. So we swapped springs. His car was pulling 1.30 60-fts with the stock Formula springs, so at least my springs have run mid 8's.... even if the rest of my car hasn't

Re: Drag springs

yeah...the only thing i'd do is put a firestone bag in the pass side...air up to about 15 psi. the shocks are what you need to be concerned with. some good drag shocks would go pretty far. torque arm and control arms will help too.

i think i had a 1.6 (or a 1.86) cant remember...on stock springs in rear with lca and phr only...havent been back after shocks/TA install.
