i have a 96 camaro im thinking of making a race car out of i have a nine inch to go under it i was wondering what is the bigest slick you can run and still keep stock style suspension also if anyone has fabed there on brackets to put a nine inch in a 4th gen i am asking becouse the motor and tranny and rearend out of the camaro is going in my nova and the fab nine out of my nova is going in the camaro also what kinda times are you guys getting out of similar cars 60ft and 1/8 and any sugestions on rear suspention parts

You can run virtually any diameter slick you want without altering the stock-style suspension. The problem is body interference. You can run some 28" slicks without altering the body. That assumes you have the correct offset wheels, and limit the section width to about 13". These are QTP 28x11.5-15's:

You can buy a direct bolt-in 9-inch rear from Currie or Moser. They come with all the correct brackets and torque arm mount. If you have a Fab9, Alston should be able to supply the required brackets and TA mount.
The big dogs are running 1.2x 60-fts with "stock style" suspension. Look at parts from Spohn Performance, BMR, UMI, J&M Products, etc.
